Shawna Emerick: Yoga and Poetry

The Great Divide:
How I Stretch

Exhale

Inhale

My Breath moves the Veil;   it quivers.

Exhale

Inhale

Darkness turns slowly illumined.

Exhale

Inhale

Mind trips through heavy obstacles.

Exhale

Inhale

Intent erupts all illusions.

Breath beats its focus.

Breath dies as Prana* Grows!

The veil now lifts, as my arms to the Heavens!

Oh, Keep Hold Mother Earth for I Am!

I am That

THAT which has no limited limbs to move,

THAT which has no black, and

THAT which only Love Exudes!

Breath beats its focus.

And I am Home.

I AM.

Exhale

Inhale

Exhale

Inhale

(Not so much Veil)

*Prana: Life Energy Force, Chi, Ki

**Note: Option for reading, instead of actually saying “Exhale, Inhale”…these words could become an audible breath.
